Established in 1934, Big 5 Species are one of the biggest attractions in Akagera National Park. whereby travelers get to see the Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Rhinos. The forest in Akagera is a combination of fringed lakes, papyrus swamps, savannah plains and rolling highlands which make the park amongst the most scenic of reserves anywhere in Africa.

Lake Kivu is one of the African Great Lakes located on the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is approximately 2,700 square kilometers in size and reaches a maximum depth of 480 meters. The lake is known for its unique and important ecosystem, as well as for its scenic beauty and recreational opportunities.

NYUNGWE Forest is a breathtaking tropical rainforest located in southwestern Rwanda, known for its incredible biodiversity and pristine beauty. As one of Africa’s oldest rainforests, it is home to over 1,000 plant species, 13 primate species, and hundreds of bird species, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers.
